The shrimp and flavor of the batter they use is incredible, probably the best I've ever had. It's very flavorful and tasty and consistent. I'll never deny that. However, there are some things I need to point out, and hopefully they can use it to better the restaurant: Their hours are very annoying. If you look at some of the reviews, others have had the same issue. They updated their hours a month ago but haven't updated it online. And even then, it's not correct, or they don't follow them because business is slow. The other day I stopped by at 6:30 with a group of 6 (their updated hours say they close at 8:00, and the kitchen closes at 7:30), and they were still closed. This happened on 2 other occasions which was super disappointing. I understand that it can be difficult to get motivated and stay open when business isn't doing well, and it may seem tempting to close an hour or two early, but customers can come in at any time. We had a group of 6 people who have never been there before and were hungry and eager to try it out and they were closed 2 hours earlier. The prices on the menu are also pretty high. And I literally never complain about price; "Be quiet and give them their money." But $21.00 for Fried Shrimp? + $6.50 for a small side? + Another $2.50 to sub something out? + a drink? After tax and a tip, it's around $40 per person. That's just way too much, it's double what you should be paying. Again, the flavor can't be disputed. It's absolutely worth trying if you're in the area. But having to call them up to see if they're open, super inconsistent times, as well as the really high price are what hold them back.

WE LOVE MALS!!!! It’s always delicious, great service and welcoming friendly faces. Might I add that we get crab legs everytime so my price range added to my review reflects such. THE PORTIONS OF FOOD ARE LARGE!!!!!

Our first visit and it won’t be our last! The food was very tasty and service was great! Such a friendly group! We moved up to Georgia in June and with it being lent we were looking for a good fish place and we found that Mal’s Krazy Krab!! Large portions too!! We received a bunch of great advice from other patrons so you know we have to go back and try the shrimp and catfish!! Love supporting our local businesses! (It’s family owned)

We decided to stop in and try this place for the first time today, and wow! The food is amazing! I actually went during lunch hours and my shrimp boil was huge and cost less than $11! We were highly impressed and satisfied. My husband gives it a 20/10.

Had the shrimp low country boil, and it was amazing. Stomps red lobster or any other seafood place I have ever eaten at. I will be coming back again and will recommend people to come enjoy some amazing seafood..

We would eat here everyday if we could. We love seafood, and they never disappoint. The fish is seasoned well and fried perfectly. The catfish, whiting, and flounder are our favorites. Their shrimp are big and perfectly fried as well. Don’t sleep on the seafood boils, because they provide good tasty portions here. This is a family owned and operated establishment, which is the main reason we keep coming back. They are soooo friendly and personable, it feels like you’re just going down the street to get some of your aunties cooking.

I had a special request for extra crispy, extra drained whole catfish and great sweat tea for my 88 year old mom and they came through with flying colors. I had the catfish fillet and shrimp platter. The fillets were huge and cooked to perfection. The batter on the shrimp was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. We will definitely be back.
